As a Senior Mechanical Designer, you will develop components for chromatography systems, particularly chromatography columns, evaluate new ideas and designs, and adapt for series production at our client. You will travel to Swedish suppliers twice a year.

We are looking for someone with a bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field and at least seven years of experience as a mechanical designer. You are proficient in Creo and fluent in both Swedish and English, spoken and written. Your role involves developing components for chromatography systems, particularly chromatography columns, and you will travel to Swedish suppliers twice a year. It is important that you have a strong personal drive and technical curiosity.

It is desirable if you have a master's degree in a relevant engineering field and experience in mechanical development at Cytiva. Knowledge of PED/ASME standards and pressure vessel design as well as experience working with composite materials is also an advantage. Experience in instrument development from early phases to industrialization, including practical testing and validation of your own designs, is valuable.
